The trek begins in the traditional Gurung villages of Barpak and Laprak, where you can experience local life and enjoy warm Nepalese hospitality. As the trail follows the Budhi Gandaki Valley, you pass through dense forests, terraced fields, deep gorges, and charming villages inhabited by people of Tibetan origin. Ancient monasteries, colorful prayer flags, mani walls, and centuries-old traditions make every day a unique cultural experience.

The route circles the majestic Manaslu (8,163 m), the eighth-highest mountain in the world.
